States of Jersey Police are recruiting now for transferees from UK police forces
Applications are welcomed from anybody who has completed their probation in a UK police force and is seeking to employ their skills on a beautiful and unique island without comparison in the British Isles.
DC Martin Davies transferred from Avon & Somerset in 2017. Here are his thoughts on the move:
We know that it’s a big decision to leave the UK and that you’ll probably have lots of questions about life in Jersey and policing on the Island, as well as practical questions about housing, schooling, tax, pensions and a whole load more. We’re here to help so please contact our recruitment team at email@example.com. They’ll do their best to give you the answers you need and can also put you in touch with UK transferees who’ve moved over recently.
The application process is completed through the Police Constable – UK Transferee Only advert here
Successful applicants will be required to take post by the end of November 2019.
We look forward to hearing from you.
