Drug Arrests

On Tuesday 26 January 2021, Drug Squad officers searched three separate addresses in St Clement, following several young people presenting at the hospital after they fell ill from taking LSD.

Following information received by police, three males aged between 17 and 18 were arrested at their home addresses, in connection with drug offences after they made certain admissions to drug importation of Class A drugs, namely LSD.

During searches of the addresses police seized a number of electronic devices which will require further examination and approximately £500 in cash.

All three men have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Drug Squad officers would like to speak with anyone who has information regarding possession and supply of any controlled drugs in the island.

Anyone with information can contact police on 612612 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their anonymous online form at Crimestoppers-uk.org.
