Self-Isolation Breach

A man and woman have been charged with Failure to Self-Isolate in connection with off-Island travel.

The man aged 29 and the woman aged 31 travelled together to Luxembourg, which is categorised as a red zone, meaning all travellers are required to isolate for 14 days following their return to the island.

During spot checks by the Enforcement team on 7 August, the couple were found to have left their property to go shopping, breaching the restrictions.
They were charged on 27 August and will appear at the Magistrates’ Court on 7 September.
