Jersey Map Design Competition Winners

We want to say a huge thank you to all the children who entered our recent competition – Policing in my Parish – and to those schools who helped make it work.

There were some amazing entries and it was really hard to pick the best designs but we’re very pleased to announce that the following were selected as the winners for their parish.

Grouville – Mya Primrose
St Brelade – Sienna Martin
St Clement – Florence Allo
St Helier – Callum Walker
St John – Reuben Thomas
St Lawrence – Megan Banks
St Martin – Harry Maguire
St Mary – Kate Le Mottee
St Ouen – Annie Brownrigg
St Peter – Orla Brady
St Saviour – Jack Band
Trinity – Theo Robson

They have each been sent a letter from the Deputy Chief Officer, via their schools, which includes an invitation to a special unveiling event of the finalised map in November.

We would also like to highlight the following children who’s entries are worthy of special mention – they came very, very close to being selected.

Mackenzie-May Bette-Benett
Charlie Booth
William Casson
Lacey Dickson
Sophia Gorst
Lily McLean
Charlotte Small
Tia Thornett
Ellie-Rose Walker
Jacob Walker

The pictures were judged earlier this month by Acting Deputy Chief of Police James Wileman, Neville from Jersey Police Authority and Digby from the Childrens Service.
