States of Jersey Police will be distributing e-fit posters across the island today in an effort to identify the man who raped a teenage girl at a Gorey Common bus stop on the night of Thursday, 31 October (Halloween).
Police have been working throughout the weekend and are now conducting enquiries into 13 persons of interest.
The 36-year-old man who was arrested on Friday, and released on bail on Saturday, is no longer a suspect in this case and has been eliminated from further enquiries.
Police would like to speak to anybody who thinks they recognise this man, in addition to anybody who was in the Gorey Common area between 11:30pm and 12:30am on the night of the attack (31 October – Halloween), and is yet to come forward.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 612214 / 612612 or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
