International Women's Day - #GirlPower

Sixty school girls from a variety of schools visited PHQ yesterday to mark International Women’s Day 2018.

They were given the chance to speak with a panel of women who work for the Police. This included police officers and other staff with rewarding and interesting roles within the force.

After a Q&A session the girls were all given a tour of the building where they met officers and learned about the day to day workings of the force.

The morning’s activities were well received and we think everyone enjoyed themselves and learned something new, including our panel!
