Handbag Theft

Police are seeking information relating to a theft that took place on Sunday 10th September 2017 at approximately 14:00.

A woman walking along Poonah Road in St Helier was approached from behind by a white man who snatched her handbag and then ran off towards Hampshire Gardens. The bag contained a number of personal items.

The stolen bad is described as a red leather handbag with short handles and no shoulder strap. It contained a mobile phone, pink spotted purse and work identification.

The man who snatched the handbag is described as white, 6ft tall, in his mid-20s wearing a dark cap, light coloured trainers, dark hoodie with possibly a black hood.
