A woman walking along Poonah Road in St Helier was approached from behind by a white man who snatched her handbag and then ran off towards Hampshire Gardens. The bag contained a number of personal items.
The stolen bad is described as a red leather handbag with short handles and no shoulder strap. It contained a mobile phone, pink spotted purse and work identification.
