Assault Opposite Toddy's Bar

Police are appealing for information after a woman was pushed to the floor after a night out with friends.

On Sunday 27th August 2017 between the hours of midnight and half past twelve, at the junction of Charles St, Ann St, and Brooklyn St (opposite Toddy’s Bar) 3 or 4 men in dark clothing have pushed this lady from behind and she has fallen onto her knees. The lady has seen the men then run off along Charles St, in the direction of Bath St and turn into Wesley St.

3 of the men are described as aged somewhere between 30 and 50, and 5’4, 5’7 and 6ft in height.

Thankfully, other than a graze to the knee, the lady has not sustained any serious injury.

Anyone who may have seen this happen or that has any information are asked to contact police on 612612 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
