Granite Wall Damaged

The Police are seeking information about a collision involving a white commercial lorry that drove into a granite wall on La Grande Route De St. Jean.

Sometime between 21:00 and 21:50 on Friday 25th August 2017, at the junction of La Rue de la Chesnaie and La Grande Route De St. Jean, a lorry pulling out onto the main road has hit the wall on the passenger side of the lorry. Both the wall and the lorry were damaged as a result of the crash and the lorry is believed to have stopped at the side of the road for a short time after the collision. The lorry was last seen driving down La Grande Route De St. Jean towards St Helier.

Police are especially keen to speak to a taxi driver who was spoken to by St John Honorary police officers shortly after the incident.

Anyone who saw the vehicle and might have noted the make, model or registration number is urged to get in touch and call police on 612612 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
