Police Vehicle Collision

At approximately 6:20pm on Wednesday 6 July, a three-vehicle road traffic collision involving two marked Police vehicles and a white Citroen van occurred directly outside Rouge Bouillon Police Headquarters. Thankfully, no-one was injured during the collision, however, damage was caused to all three vehicles involved.

Both Police vehicles were responding to an emergency call at the time and had their lights and sirens activated as is standard procedure. The road was closed for several hours while specially-trained collision investigators evaluated the scene.

We would like to pass our thanks and appreciation to those affected by the road closure for their patience and understanding. An investigation is now underway and a file will be submitted to the Law Officers’ Department for their consideration once complete.
