Worrying Livestock

The States of Jersey Police are appealing to members of the public, who may have any information regarding an incident which occurred in the afternoon of Sunday, 3rd January, 2016

The incident took place around the area of Oak Lane and Mont Es Croix, St Brelade between 15:30 and approximately 16:10 and involved a dog entering a field alongside Oak Lane and attacking livestock within the field.

The dog is believed to be a brown Spaniel or similar.

The dog was believed to be with 2 adults and a child, one of the adults is thought to have been female. A member of the public did try to tell the dog owners but had no response.

A goose and a duck were injured as a result of the incident.

Anyone with information is kindly asked to contact Police Headquarters on 612612.  Police are looking to speak specifically with those who may have been walking their dog in the area at the time of the incident.
