As part of a drive to become more efficient the States of Jersey Police are changing the hours the Enquiry Desk is open.
Although the public will still be able to talk to an officer 24 hours a day via a phone by the entrance to the building, from Monday 26th December, the desk will only be open between 8am and 8pm every day.
This coincides with busy periods for the desk.
The civilian officers who work on the enquiry desk will also work from the Control Room outside opening hours answering calls and online enquiries.
