Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident that occured between 20:30 and 20:40 on Thursday 16th July 2015 on St. Clement’s Coast Road, near Robert’s Garage.
A man was walking along the coast road when he was approached by another male and assaulted. He was punched in the eye and also threatened with a metal baton. The suspect left the area and the victim made his way towards the Garage. A few minutes later, the suspect returned in a burgundy coloured vehicle, possibly a Ford Fiesta, was abusive to the victim and then left the area. The suspect is described as a white male, 5’4” tall, slim build, short dark hair and wearing a yellow Jersey.
