Charity collection container stolen

INCIDENT DETAILS:

Between 19:30 on Friday 19th September and 09:30 on Saturday 20th September a large charity collection container with approximately £500 in change was taken from a vehicle parked overnight on Beach Road.

The 6 litre glass whiskey bottle, with a label on saying ''Chateau Kirwan' was filled with one penny, five penny, and twenty pence pieces.
The money was a charity collection and due to be donated to Cancer Research.

DATE and TIME: BETWEEN 19:30 Fri 19th Sept and 09:30 Sat 20th Sept

LOCATION: BEACH ROAD, ST SAVIOUR

TYPE OF INCIDENT: Larceny Unattended Motor Vehicle (LUMV)

APPEAL DETAILS:

Officers are urging the public to be on the lookout for this distinctive bottle of money or anyone who tries to change a large amount of small coins, particularly one, five, and twenty pence pieces.
