Over the last few days Jersey has been hit by severe weather conditions.
The high winds and heavy rain resulted in flooding, falling trees and flying debris.
GALE WARNINGS were issued by the Jersey Met Office – with winds reaching F9 at times, and gusts of up to 75mph.
The Jersey Coast Guard’s also issued a RED TIDE ALERT– as the combination of gale force winds and high tides caused waves to crash up over the sea walls, causing roads to be closed off.
The States of Jersey Police asked islanders to take extreme care when driving, particularly along the coastal roads, as the rough sea and debris caused poor visibility and dangerous driving conditions.
