"Whilst police enquiries post-Christmas have continued in order to trace Roy Deeming, including establishing his most recent movements & activity, to date, no trace has been established. Enquiries with friends & family have established that he was in a low state of mind & that he had indicated an intention to take his own life. Whilst there clearly remain concerns for Roy’s welfare, this is still being treated as a missing person enquiry and anyone with information is asked to contact the States of Jersey Police. Police Liaison Officers are working closely with the family both locally and in the UK to offer them support.”
