Driving incident - Witness Appeal

INCIDENT DETAILS: 

A woman with a pushchair and a young child walking alongside her attempted to cross the pedestrian crossing outside of the Co Op at Georgetown when they were nearly hit by a silver car travelling from the direction of the tunnel which drove through the crossing.

At the time is was wet and raining and the road was busy with traffic and pedestrians.

DATE and TIME: Monday 17th November 2014 at about 8:30 in the morning

LOCATION: Pedestrian crossing on La Route Du Fort near the Co Op store

TYPE OF INCIDENT: Driving incident

APPEAL DETAILS: We wish to speak to the woman with the pushchair and child who were nearly struck by the silver car at the crossing. We would also like to speak to the driver of a white van who was traveling from the direction of Georgetown towards the Tunnel and had stopped at the crossing and would have seen the incident.
