States of Jersey Police are appealing for any information on the whereabouts of a 61- year-old man who has been missing from his home in St Brelade’s since late Christmas Eve, early hours of Christmas Day 2014.
Roy Paul DEEMING, was last in phone contact around 8pm Christmas Eve he has not been seen or in contact with anyone since then.
Mr DEEMING owns a yacht, ‘Desiree’, this was located yesterday at approximately 1200 hours, unoccupied and a mile offshore southwest of Corbiere. The vessel has being returned to the Elizabeth Harbour. It is usually moored within St Aubin’s Harbour.
Searches have been and continue to be conducted by Air and Sea Coast Guard, C.I. Rescue and French Authorities respectfully.
It is not known what Mr DEEMING was wearing at the time of his disappearance, however he is described as being 5’6”’ tall, of slim - medium build with brown but greying hair and a moustache.
Anyone who may have any information about Mr DEEMING’s whereabouts, or may have seen or spoken to him in since Christmas Eve, is asked to contact States of Jersey Police on 612612.
