Witness Appeal Snow Hill

INCIDENT DETAILS: About 1800 hours on Saturday 16th August 2014 three males, were in Snow Hill car park and have harassed an unknown female, before approaching an unknown member of the public riding a moped. They grabbed hold of the handle bars and tried tampering and shaking the moped, before the rider was able to make off.

The males then left the car park and made their way towards Hill Street, where one of them jumped out in front of a moving vehicle causing the young female driver to take evasive action and have caused her distress.

The males are described as mid 20’s approximately 5ft 8” tall and one was wearing a dark coloured t-shirt.

The police would like to speak to any persons who have witnessed these incidents on 612612.

Police are appealing for information in relation to several incidents which occurred between Snow Hill car park and Hill Street, between 1800 and 1830 on Saturday 16th August 2014, whereby three drunken males in their twenties, have harassed and taunted members of the public, by causing damage to motor vehicles, indecently assaulting a female and frightening women and young children.

Around 1815 hours whilst in Snow Hill car park, the males were seen to grab the handle bars of a moped and harass the driver, before they were able to make off. They were also seen to harass a female a few minutes earlier at the same location. The Police are appealing for both parties to contact the Police station.
