Two arrested for intent to supply

Two men have been charged with intent to supply controlled drugs followed an intelligence-led operation into the importation of New Psychoactive Substances.

Just before 1pm Thursday 17 April 2014, the States of Jersey Police arrested two men, aged 32 and 21, in the Grand Vaux area of St Helier.

When arrested, they were in possession of approximately one kilo of Ethylphenidate, a New Psychoactive Substance (NPS) with a street value of approximately £60k. A quantity of cash & other drugs have also been seized.

A 21 year old female was also subsequently arrested and a quantity of drugs seized.

Both men have been charged with possession with intent to supply controlled drugs and remanded in custody to appear in court on Monday 21st April 2014. The female has been released pending further enquiries.
