The States of Jersey Police are issuing a warning to islanders following a report of rogue traders operating in the island.
The report consists of a number of individuals in a UK-registered van offering services such as power washing drives and fixing roofs for a highly inflated price. They will only take cash payment.
Officers are asking if anyone is approached by these men to contact Police Headquarters immediately on 612612, as these individuals are trading without a license.
Legitimate tradesmen will be licensed so always ask for identification.
