Appeal following asbestos dumped

Officers are appealing for witnesses following the dumping of asbestos in a field in Waterworks Valley over the weekend.
The States of Jersey Police were called by a parish official on Sunday morning after discovering broken sheets of asbestos in the valley which had been left there overnight.
The area was cordoned off, covered and the asbestos will be removed by colleagues from Transport and Technical Services today.
Acting Inspector Peter Barney said: "If asbestos is not disposed of properly it can be incredibly harmful to people. This was a reckless act and there is just no excuse.
"We are urging anyone with any information about who did this to contact us on 612612 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
