Media students from Highlands College got first-hand experience shooting a commercial last week - as they helped States of Jersey Police kick start its domestic abuse campaign.
The hard-hitting campaign will officially launch in December but work has been going on for months to come up with ideas and themes.
Police officers went to talk to students about the subject and they helped coming up with the concept for the advert which was shot on Friday.
Two child actors were used to deliver the hard-hitting Christams message "What are you giving your child this Christmas?"
With the help of Freedom Media students worked on the technical elements of the shoot, as well as dressing the set and suggesting ideas for shots.
But their involvement d"sn't end here, they will also be involved in the editing and be making a behind-the-scenes video of the day.
