Following 2 reported incidents in St Helier in the early hours of Monday 21 November 2011 (break and entry at Elmina Hairdressers, Broad Street and damage and theft from four vehicles parked in the Esplanade car park), and following investigation by officers from the Criminal Investigation Department and Crime Scene Investigators, the States of Jersey Police can confirm that 4 young females were arrested and interviewed about the offences.

2 were subsequently released pending further enquiries. The other 2 females, who are aged 16 and 17 and cannot be named for legal reasons, have now been charged with break and entry. They will appear before the Youth Court on Tuesday 29 November 2011.
