The incident is said to have happened in a field behind FCJ School around 4pm yesterday, as the young girl was walking alone on her way from Grainville School towards Grands Vaux. In particular, we would also like to hear from a cyclist who may have been in, or close to, the playing field around the time of the incident, and who is described as wearing a helmet, cycling outfit and sunglasses.

Investigating officers are in the area near Grainville School today in an effort to piece together what may have happened yesterday, and to seek any additional information about the incident.
