More charges follow RTC in Gloucester Street

 TWO more youths have been charged following an RTC in Gloucester Street on 23 June.

One youth, who was charged earlier this week, has already appeared before the Court.

He faced charges of taking and driving away a car, driving whilst over the prescribed limit, and having no insurance, and driving whilst disqualified.

The two further youths, both aged 15, who cannot be named for legal reasons, who will appear before the Magistrate today, (Friday 26 June) are both charged with the offence of allowing themselves to be carried in a stolen vehicle on roads in St Helier on 23 June.

The States of Jersey Police remain committed to targeting youth crime and offending, and behaviour which causes distress and inconvenience to others.
