Update on historical abuse enquiry

RELEASED TO MEDIA ON THURSDAY 6 DECEMBER AT 11 AM

The historical abuse investigation team at States of Jersey Police have received a further five calls with information regarding historical abuse in the Island.

Two of the five calls are from the UK and three were made locally.

One of the calls was made because the caller had heard national radio coverage of the investigation.

The team dealing with the inquiry would still urge any callers who have not contacted them, who believe they have information to get in touch. Callers may contact either the dedicated NSPCC helpline or the locally based historical abuse investigation team.
