Security Bike Marking Scheme

Thanks to the ongoing assistance and sponsorship from The Channel Islands Co-operative Society in previous years the States of Jersey Police have the opportunity to security mark your pedal cycles for free. as of 2017, we have security marked just under 2,000 pedal cycles but we know this is only a fraction of the number of cycles in the island.

So far in 2018 we will be attending a number of events so we can offer the bike marking service from free to the public.

Saturday 9 June - we will be at the Youth Triathlon from 10:30 - 15:00 at Les Quennevais.

Saturday 9 & Sunday 10 June we will be at the Summer Country Fair at the Trinity Showground between 10:00 - 17:00.

Tuesday 19 June we will be on Victoria Avenue opposite the Grand Hotel between 16:00 - 19:00 as part of the 'Let's Look Out For Eachother' campaign.

We are not always able to security mark bikes here at PHQ, but you can contact our Crime Reduction Officer, PC Chris Ingham to arrange something if you can't make it to any of the above events. You can contact him at
