Visit the station

If you prefer to speak to someone face to face, you can come to our Visitor Reception Centre at Police Headquarters which is open from 8am until 8pm seven days a week. There is also a phone located outside the entrance to the Visitor Reception Centre for times when it is closed and a member of the public needs to speak to an officer. You can also report a crime using our quick and convenient online crime reporting form.

Our Visitor Reception Centre team will be able to assist you with the following:                                        

  • reporting crime and other incidents
  • registration for sex offenders
  • reporting for bail
  • producing documents at the request of an officer
  • lost and found property
  • collecting detained property
  • advice and information
  • leaving messages for officers and staff
